New espresso machine comes to the Webster coffee bar

January 3rd, 2011

We are very excited to be one of the first espresso bars in California to feature the beautiful La Marzocco Strada MP. This is La Marzocco’s first pressure profiling espresso machine and we love what it is letting us do to the coffee so far. Since we only pull single origin espresso at the Webster coffee bar, we thought that would be the perfect place to feature a Strada. There are so many possibilities with pressure profiling on the Strada we are really looking forward to delving deeply into our profiles. Apart from the pressure profiling, it’s a wonderful machine in a lot of other ways – shot timer, nice wide drip tray, ergonomic steam valve, etc etc. Please stop by and let us know what you think! Oh, and it looks super slick, also.

Certifiable!

December 8th, 2010

We’ve been roasting organic coffee all this time, but we got our Webster Street roastery certified by the CCOF. So now there is third-party certification behind every bag of organic coffee we sell!
